Cellulite on thighs is one of those things that makes many of us just shake our heads when we think of ways to lose it altogether. Sometimes it feels like no matter what you do, you just cannot seem to get rid of the annoyingly unnatural dimples that expose themselves on your body.

Seriously, it makes you want to take a vacuum and try to suck your skin back to its normal surface. We know how frustrating it is and want to help you in the best ways that we can. We have vigorously researched the bothersome ‘fat’ and looked into what has worked for other people so you can say goodbye the cellulite creeping on your thighs.

Read our guide below and find out how to get rid of cellulite  and lose fat on your thighs!

    What Is Cellulite?

If finding ways to get rid of cellulite on thighs is something you are dedicated to, you should know that you CAN do it. Understanding how it gets there is a critical piece to discovering how to remove it.

Let us educate a little about cellulite: Think of the layer underneath your skin as a honeycomb. That is exactly what it looks like. As the amount of fat your body increases, your ‘honeycomb’ loses strength and allows fat to bulge through. It is like running water on a paper towel, eventually the water will break through and leave holes in the thread.

Everyone’s body is different, so some of us can be more prone to the skin dimples. It is not something that you are doing wrong, it can be genetics. Luckily there are ways to eliminate it and develop a ‘thicker skin’ that makes it more difficult for fat cells to break through your honeycomb layer.

    Creams & Ointments

Unfortunately a lot of the creams and ointments that claim to get rid of cellulite on thighs do not offer a lot of proof to support their promises. You can find a lot of fantastically rated medications that come highly recommended by its users on Amazon. What we have found works best are the lotions that relax muscles and require a massaging that helps build the skin layer and burn the immediate fat through heat.

Cellulite creams are fairly inexpensive, so trying one out cannot hurt you. It is not the end all be all solution though by any means. You should combine them with some of the more effective ways to eliminate the visibility. They do require changes in lifestyle but are proven to burn the nasty fat cells and have you looking your best again.

    Change Your Diet

We know, it is the last thing you want to hear. Society is always telling us to change the way we eat for one reason or another. We have discovered enough to know that you do not need to make drastic changes in you eating, but eliminating certain things will help.

Because cellulite is just fat pushing through your skin, take the few seconds it takes to count your calories. You do not need to be a fanatic about it, but find out how many calories you generally consume in a day. If you tend to eat 3,500 calories per day, try moving down to 3,000 calories.

One pound of fat is equal to 3,500 calories. By decreasing your count 500 calories each day, you are essentially losing a pound a week and burning off the cellulite. Here are some tips to help you do this:

    • Replace white breads with whole grain breads.
    • Drop a percentage in your milk consumptions (2% to 1%).
    • Replace the soda you have with lunch with a glass of water.
    • Take one meal a day and replace a carb with a vegetable.
    • Take the cheese or mayo out of your sandwich.

Doing these things are not going to have immediate effects. You are not going to get rid of cellulite on your thighs overnight though, so make the simple adjustments. You will be just a little bit healthier and will watch those dimples start to shrink.

    Cardio & Exercise

Do not worry, we are not telling you to jump on a treadmill for hours at a time. Just take 15 minutes a day putting your heart into fat-burning mode and you will burn an extra 300 calories every day. In a study by Duke University Medical Center, people who completed 20 miles of cardio per week were able to eliminate the specific type of fat cells that purge through your skin layers.

Here are some ways you can accomplish this:

    • Spend 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night just walking. You will go through about 20 miles in 5 days.
    • Do 10 jumping jacks every hour.
    • These are highly recommended because it will target the thighs and where cellulite resides.

There are a lot of ways you can burn the cells that protrude your skin. Try to adjust a few things in your daily schedule that are going to allow you to use your legs more often.

    Final Thoughts

Yeah, it seems like work, we know. Anything good is though. If you take destroying your cellulite seriously, take the time to try a cream. Do not JUST try the cream though. Other just like you have been known to get rid of cellulite on their thighs quickly by combining all three of these methods.

Take control of your body and make the choice to blast away the fat cells that seem to be the object of our obsession. Do not wait to do it, start now, you will thank us later.
