    They all say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you must eat a hearty meal to get through the day. Sometimes we wake up in the morning feeling thirsty and hungry, so we may cook anything that can satisfy our cravings. But if we are on a diet, managing the foods we eat can be confusing and hard to keep track of the routine.

    Luckily today, researchers have found some foods that have the right properties for promoting weight loss while still getting the nourishment you need to last for the day or until your next meal. If you are really serious about losing weight, here are the foods you can eat that can promote a safer weight loss.

    Eggs

    First up are eggs. You may have heard that eggs are one of the causes of bad cholesterol but that’s not entirely true unless you are overeating. Start your day by cooking 2 whole eggs and you will get 12 grams of protein and a total of 155 calories should be enough to keep you full until lunch. Eggs also contain choline which is a fat-burning nutrient that your body will convert to fat when you need something to burn energy.

    Salmon

    If you are looking for another type of protein-rich food, then a salmon is your best choice. Consuming 3 ounces of salmon can provide enough protein to energize you through the morning. All the energy you can get at 177 calories. Salmons are also known to have omega-3 which is beneficial for your health especially when you’re into weight loss program.

    Watermelon

    Next on the list is watermelon. This fruit is one of the sweetest and of course, high in sugar. This fruit has remarkable benefits to losing weight as much as 30 percent and lowering bad cholesterol called LDL by 50 percent. Eating 1 slice in the morning coupled with two eggs, and you now have the perfect low-calorie foods you need to start your day.

    Grapefruit

    Grapefruit is also another fruit that can help with weight loss. Just like watermelon, this fruit is made up   of mostly water. It also contains a lot of Vitamin C which can help your body burn fat and 15 grams of pectin that acts as an appetite suppressant to minimize your food cravings. Studies have shown that eating only half a grapefruit before every meal has lost an average of 3.5 pounds in just two weeks.

    Green Tea

    Last is green tea. Green tea has many anti-oxidants that are healthy for your body which can also boost oxidation of fat by up to 17 percent. Drinking green tea can burn 80 calories a day without making unpleasant changes in your daily routine. So if you are into drinking beverages, choose green tea instead and start a healthy lifestyle.
